Convention 2006 - Serowe.

Preparations are going on well and the Club is encouraged by the continouos inflow of Registrations especially from Zimbabwe.

Despite the devaluation of the Pula, we have kept the first quarter registration at P180.00, however, there afteradjustments have been made upwards.

The club will embark on a lot of Fundraising activities for the Convention and is appealing to all Clubs in Botswana to assist.

Lions are asked to register in Numbers as this promises to be THE CONVENTION in the Royal Village.

Activities :

1.Fire Disaster Workshop was held at Serowe Hotel Conference Room on 27th August 2005.

Chief resource person was the BPC Loss Control Manager Mr. Phalalo.

A total of 35 business owners attended the Workshop.

This project was held after the Spar Shopping Complex was gutted by fire involving 7 Shops and resulting in the loss of propert and business worth over millions.
